Growing up, my sisters and I spent every single weekend at our family cabin in the Everglades. We have running water, electricity, and all the wetlands to explore. Our time was spent racing tractors, fishing with sticks of bamboo and line, making spears in the fire pit, playing “kitchen” in the mud, and swimming in the lake. We spend Thanksgiving out there and every year I’m filled with so much gratitude that I had the most full childhood anyone could ever imagine. This year, I explored with intention and was reminded of the beautiful world (both above and below the surface) that is the Everglades. I’m so thankful for the support I’ve received this year from friends, family, and even strangers. Life has truly become beautiful both above and below the surface ❤️ I’m so excited to see what the future holds. Happy holidays!
